LG’s new QNED evo TVs have arrived

LG Electronics has officially launched its latest lineup of QNED evo televisions, aiming to transform the home entertainment experience by blending advanced Mini LED technology with its next-generation Alpha AI processor. Positioned as a premium alternative within the LCD TV market, the new QNED evo models offer high-end picture and sound quality, rivaling the brand’s OLED series.
The QNED evo TVs deliver vivid, detailed visuals in any lighting condition, thanks to their Intertek-certified 100% color volume and upgraded Dynamic QNED Color technology. The intelligent Mini LED backlighting system, managed by AI-driven light control, ensures deeper blacks, sharper contrast, and scene-by-scene optimization.
At the heart of the visual improvements is LG’s AI Picture Pro, which analyzes and enhances specific elements of the image, while AI Object Enhancer ensures lifelike rendering of faces and objects. The Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro feature divides the screen into zones, adjusting brightness and contrast individually for a more vibrant, dynamic picture. On the audio side, AI Sound Pro creates an immersive 9.1.2 virtual surround sound experience directly from the built-in speakers.
Personalized Profiles and Smarter Features
One of the standout features of the 2025 lineup is its advanced personalization. The AI Picture/Sound Wizard uses billions of image and audio data points to automatically generate custom profiles tailored to each user’s preferences.
The new QNED evo series also comes equipped with webOS 25, LG’s latest smart TV platform, which will receive regular updates for the next five years, ensuring a long-term, future-proof experience. The TVs serve as smart home hubs as well, featuring the new Home Hub, seamless integration with Google Home, LG ThinQ, Apple AirPlay, and Google Cast for effortless content sharing from mobile devices.
Gaming and True Wireless Innovation
Gamers will appreciate features like a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, 4K resolution, AMD FreeSync Premium support, and a dedicated Gaming Portal for accessing cloud-based games without a console.
Perhaps the most exciting innovation is the inclusion of LG’s True Wireless technology in the QNED9M model. First introduced in the LG OLED evo M series, this system allows the TV to wirelessly transmit 4K content with no latency or image quality loss — a bold step toward a fully cable-free living room.
Large-Screen Options for Home Cinema Fans
Recognizing the growing demand for large home displays, the QNED evo lineup will be available in sizes ranging from 50 to a massive 100 inches. The flagship 100-inch model promises a true home theater experience, making it a centerpiece for any entertainment setup.
The 2025 LG QNED evo televisions will begin rolling out in May across Korea, the United States, and Europe.
