  • Schneider Electric and NVIDIA signed a strategic agreement. They will jointly develop more efficient AI infrastructures. This partnership aims to establish AI factories globally, including in Europe.

Global Collaboration for AI Advancement

The NVIDIA GTC Paris event announced this global collaboration. This initiative supports European Union efforts to build AI infrastructure. The EU’s “InvestAI” program allocated two hundred billion euros for AI development. The European Commission’s “AI Continent Action Plan” targets thirteen AI factories. It also plans up to five “AI gigafactories” across the continent.

Prior Joint Ventures and Innovations

This announcement follows previous collaborations between the companies. One joint development is a digital twin solution. It uses NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint to model electrical infrastructure for AI factories. They also created reference designs for power and liquid cooling. These designs leverage Motivair technologies, acquired by Schneider Electric in March twenty twenty-five.

Leadership Perspectives on the Partnership

Olivier Blum, Schneider Electric CEO, stated their focus. He mentioned creating infrastructures for future AI factories worldwide. He highlighted their achievements in power and cooling systems for AI data centers. Jensen Huang, NVIDIA Founder and CEO, emphasized AI’s transformative power. He noted their joint effort to bring AI to every company, industry, and community.

Additional Insights

The concept of “AI factories” represents a significant shift. These facilities centralize high-performance computing resources. They specifically optimize for AI model training and deployment. This model aims to accelerate AI adoption across various sectors. The focus on energy efficiency and cooling is crucial. AI workloads generate substantial heat, demanding advanced solutions. The partnership between a power management giant and an AI leader is logical. It addresses the critical infrastructure needs for future AI development.
