  • The Predator Orion 7000 is the official 2025 tournament PC for Intel Extreme Masters, allowing fans to play and buy the pro-level hardware.

The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), in partnership with Acer and Intel, has announced that the Predator Orion 7000 will be the official 2025 tournament PC of Intel Extreme Masters (IEM). Debuting at IEM Cologne 2025, this collaboration marks a significant first for the tournament. For the first time in IEM history, fans can now play on and purchase the very same hardware used by the world’s best Counter-Strike professionals. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between the professional esports scene and the community, setting a new standard for the fan experience.

The Predator Orion 7000 is a powerful desktop built for high-end gaming performance. It is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, and supports up to 128GB of DDR5 memory. The PC features an advanced Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system to ensure optimal thermal performance during intense gaming sessions. Its transparent tempered glass side panels provide a clear view of the cutting-edge internals.

Hardware for Elite Performance

Designed for 4K gaming, streaming, and competitive play, the Predator Orion 7000 delivers the speed and thermal efficiency that top esports athletes rely on. This announcement highlights the continued innovation driven by the longstanding partnership between EFG, Intel, and Acer. The “Cathedral of Counter-Strike,” the LANXESS arena, is preparing to host the world’s best Counter-Strike teams and one of esports’ most dedicated crowds on August 1-3. The collaboration elevates the fan experience by making pro-level technology accessible to everyone.

ESL FACEIT Group’s Vice President, Emily Fuller, noted that the collaboration allows fans to “step directly into the world of pros.” This move, she said, truly bridges the gap between the community and the elite level of competition. Acer’s Vincent Lin also highlighted that this is a major milestone for the Predator brand. He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering performance-driven hardware for both professionals and enthusiasts.

Hands-On Experience for Fans

Fans attending IEM Cologne will get a unique opportunity to engage with the Predator Orion 7000 firsthand. At the Intel Tent, attendees can explore the latest gaming hardware and try out the new PC. The on-site activities will also include opportunities to meet with professional Counter-Strike players. Throughout the IEM Cologne weekend, the Predator gaming PC will be showcased prominently.

Attendees will be able to get hands-on with the same high-performance setup used by the pros. This allows fans to experience the elite-level power trusted on the main stage for themselves. This direct engagement with pro-level hardware is a central part of the fan experience. It allows the community to feel a deeper connection to the competition and the athletes.

A Growing Trend of Accessible Esports Gear

The collaboration between EFG, Acer, and Intel represents a growing trend in the esports industry. As the line between professional and amateur gaming blurs, more companies are making top-tier hardware accessible to the public. For example, brands like Logitech G and Razer have long offered “esports-grade” peripherals, but this is one of the first times a major tournament has made the entire tournament PC available for public purchase and hands-on use during the event. This strategy not only serves as a powerful marketing tool but also empowers aspiring gamers with the same tools as their idols, potentially fueling the next generation of professional players.
