ViewSonic has introduced two new laser projectors under its LSD400 series, designed to meet the demands of professional and educational settings. The LSD400W and the short-throw LSD400HD-ST models deliver 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness, making them suitable for large rooms and well-lit spaces. As part of the Luminous Superior (LS) lineup, these projectors combine high performance with reduced energy consumption, lowering total cost of ownership. According to the company, the devices consume up to 49% less power than traditional lamp-based models.

Both models utilize third-generation laser phosphor technology, which enhances brightness while improving energy efficiency. With a rated lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, the projectors eliminate the need for frequent lamp replacements, reducing maintenance and resource use. Mercury-free operation and lower heat output contribute to quieter fan performance and a more comfortable user experience.
